Jeollanam-do announced on the 5th of June that it would lead the natural product market for the future food industry and promote the establishment of a facility for international standards of natural product industrialization to strengthen corporate competitiveness.

A plan has been established to build the "Support Hub of K-Natural Material Lifecycle Standardization" through a demand survey of over a hundred related companies last year and many years of prior research.

Investing KRW 30 billion in total project cost for five years from next year for the promotion of building a center to support the standardization of the international standard lifecycle, establishing an industry database for standardization on industrialization priority resources, creating a production system for standardized products, operating a support center for standardization certification, etc.

When the "Support Hub of K-Natural Material Lifecycle Standardization" is completed, the industrialization period of a company is expected to be shortened from four years to two years. In addition, it is expected to reduce the companies' unnecessary overlapping R&D costs by over KRW 350 billion each year and increase overseas sales of domestic natural products by 20%.
