The Seo Kyung-bae Science Foundation (Chairman Seo Kyung-bae) selected two new scientists in 2022 to support research for this year. The award ceremony for the certification of new scientists was held at AmorePacific headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on August 26.
The selected up-and-coming scientists are Hwang Seok-soo (Yonsei University Medical School), who proposed a "T-cell resting mechanism study," and Kim Hak-kyun (Jungang University's Department of Life Sciences), who proposed a "comprehensive study on the mechanism of increasing gene expression by non-translated RNAs generated from messenger RNA."
