AmorePacific has developed the world's first "chip-less wireless electronic skin" (electronic skin) that can measure and analyze skin condition anytime, anywhere. The Chip-less wireless electronic skin enabled by epitaxial free standing compound semiconductors, which was the result of work between AmorePacific and Professor Kim Ji-hwan of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), was published in the world-renowned journal Science.
This technology uses a single crystal semiconductor without chips, has excellent sensor sensitivity, and can be attached to curved skin, allowing wireless measuring of an individual's skin condition without heavy equipment.
