Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi), China’s choice sourcing platform for the global personal care industry, today reveals key highlights that will feature prominently at the next edition of the event, which will be held at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center (SWEECC) in China from 26-28 February 2020.

Real Steps Toward Sustainability

Discussions around environmental issues have dominated news headlines globally in the last few months. Responding to the personal care industry’s journey toward achieving sustainability, PCHi will be introducing a new feature area. For the first time next year, attendees can look forward to the PCHi Sustainability Zone — a showcase of specific products and technologies that demonstrate exhibitors’ efforts in sustainable development.

DSM, one of PCHi’s key exhibitors for this zone, is a firm believer of environmental sustainability and the company’s Personal Care and Aroma Ingredients Business Unit has been helping customers embrace industry specificities since end 2017.

Commenting on her observations of the industry’s readiness, Ms Gaelle Bathany, Global Sustainability Director at DSM Personal Care & Aroma Ingredients, shared, “Aswith any emerging trend, we observe very different levels of commitment and engagement, whether from manufacturers or end-consumers. But sustainability has definitely become a critical part of any organization’s business strategy, and companies need tothink about transforming their operations.”

Apart from a static display, a select group of exhibitors will also be sharing more about their products, services, or business practices at the PCHi Sustainability Forum. Attendees keen on gaining more insight and inspiration should plan to explore the showcase and keynote presentations in Hall 2.

Perennial Key Features to Expect

Some of PCHi’s crowd-favorite feature areas such as PCHi Fountain Awards, New Product Showcase, New Technology Sessions, and PCHi Conference will again be present at the show.
